“The result achieved by us is consequence of the well-planned and consistently implemented strategy of the company. Caring about security of clients and high quality of the provided services are its pillars. As one of a very few companies, we offer quick services and full-time support to our clients. We also emphasise a broad portfolio of payment solutions, including terminals customised to the needs of various clients, from large, international tried networks, to micro-entrepreneurs running trade or services sole proprietorships,” summarises Joanna Seklecka, the President of the Management Board of eService Sp. z o.o.

About 20 banking organisations and clearing agents offering services of acceptance of payment cards are active in the Polish market. According to the date of the National Bank of Poland, as at the end of 2017, the total of 624,600 POS terminals were operated in Poland. Considering ever-increasing annual dynamics of the increase in the number of terminals, which rated 16.4% during the 12 months of last year, the number may be estimated at about 680,000 currently in the market. This means that eService is the operator of almost each one of three payment terminals in Poland. Its terminals may be found in the largest trade networks, as well as in the places which have not been associated with cashless payments, like Poczta Polska facilities, Totalizator Sportowy points, mobile catering points, or even police cars.

The quickly increasing number of terminals is the result of, among others, the Polska Bezgotówkowa programme, in which eService is an active partner. Offering very attractive conditions of terminal use, the company supports growth of business for small and medium-size enterprises, which did not use payment terminals in their operations within the last 12 months. The uniqueness of the offer of eService comes in the possibility of obtaining up to three modern wireless Smart D220 payment terminals, which may be provided for free and for good. Also, just like with all terminals offered in the Polska Bezgotówkowa programme, the user does not pay any costs of transaction processing in the first 12 months.

Availability of modern forms of payment acceptance may be a significant elements to determine development of a trade or services company. As the “Postawy Polaków wobec form płatności” study (Attitudes of Poles to forms of payment) conducted to the order of eService shows, as many as 4 out of 10 respondents declare that they can completely withdraw from the transaction if card payment is not possible.

Considering the opinions of the clients, eService created the www.bezgotowki.pl website for the entrepreneurs to quickly and comfortably take advantage of special offers available within the Polska Bezgotówkowa programme. The website includes intuitive descriptions of procedures supported with visualisations. It presents contract conditions in a legible form, as well as the offered terminals, along with information about their possible uses and benefits for the companies interested in the offer. The website also allows the conclusion of the contract within the programme.

With cooperation with Poczta Polska, PKO Bank Polski and Orange Polska, the partners of “Koalicja liderów” (Leaders’ Coalition) established by eService, the contract for the terminals offered within the Polska Bezgotówkowa programme may also be concluded in 524 branches of PKO Bank Polski, 742 saloons and Smart Stores of Orange Polska, as well as in over 4,600 branches of Poczta Polska, and with 22,000 post office deliverers provided with tablets.
